I am loving how Eli and Piper love each other so much. Everyday Eli says 'Piper come to our house?' and he watches out the window for her. When he sees the car he says 'Piper here!' and gets a big smile on his face. It is the cutest thing ever. Well, not the cutest - the cutest thing happens when she comes in the door and they both get big smiles on their faces and they run and hug and kiss each other as if they haven't seen each other in years. It is truly one of the highlights of my day.
Today when Ben came home he asked PIper for a hug so she promptly ran over to Eli and Silas and gave them a hug. Not quite what Ben had in mind but cute nonetheless. And it just warms my heart how she loves my boys and how much they love her in turn. I may never have another baby but with Piper I can have a little taste of what it would feel like to have 4 kids - not only 4 kids but one little girl and my boys have a taste of what it would feel like to have a little princess running around the house. It's a win/win. And, who doesn't love hugs???
